Mabel Maria Symmes's headstone (7/28/1886 - 12/10/1907) was found on the property of 109 Lowell Road, Westford, MA in May of 2019, during site work for a new house. The Lowell Road property was part of the Axel T. Lundberg Monument shop which was located at Brookside and Chamberlain Roads during the early 1900s. She graduated from Westford Academy and then from the Massachusetts Normal Art School of Boston. A prolific artist she wrote poetry, sketched, painted, and designed her own clothes. (18")

Westford Women Doll: Marian Frances Winnek. From the series by the women of First Parish Church United. Marian lived from 1883-1977. Born in Belmont, MA, she spent summers at Coldspring Farm in Westford. She wrote the book "Juniper Hill" about her family summers in Westford. At age 55 house at 24 Main St, she donated a children's room to the library and 30 acres of land to the town. (18")
