Westford Women Doll: Eldress Luch Prescott. From the series made by the women of First Parish Church United. Lucy lived from 1763-1845. At the age of 17 she attended a gathering led by Mother Ann Lee (founder of the Shaker movement ) with her mother and sisters. She became a Shaker in Harvard, at age 28 she became a Shaker Eldress in the first Maine Shaker Ministry in Alfred Maine. (18" tall) |
