Description |
Antique Civil War dress, originally owned by Arvilla May Woodward Gould (b.Dec. 5,1822), an early Westford resident. It is worn by Mrs. Albert Picking in the Westford Junior Women's Club Fashion Show in 1979 commemorating Westford's 250th birthday celebration. The dress is made from brown cotton fabric with a flower pattern and is hand stitched. It has a seperate cape, long sleeves, pleated lined bodice, waistband, and pleated skirt. (we do not have the apron pictured) (56" long) |
