At the age of 17 she attended a gathering led by Mother Ann Lee (founder of the Shaker movement ) with her mother and sisters. She became a Shaker in Harvard, at age 28 she became a Shaker Eldress in the first Maine Shaker Ministry in Alfred Maine. (18" tall)

Olive lived from 1780 - 1860, she was born in Forge Village and married Abram Prescott, the brother of Lucy. Olive was a weaver, a skill she learned from her mother, many of her textiles are in the Essex Institute in Salem, MA. (18" tall)

    Westford Women Doll: Sarah Elizabeth Keyes. From the series by the women of First Parish Church United. Sarah was born on the 4th of July in 1839, she lived at the corner of Main St and Tadmuck Rd. A graduate of Westford Academy, she later moved to Kinston N.C. to teach freedmen. Sarah died in N.C. on June 5th 1866, her grave is in Maplewood Cemetery in Kinston. (17.5")

Emily entered Westford Academy at the age of ten, she became an accomplished taxidermist, and had a large botanical collection of dried specimens. (17.5")

    Checker game in a red folding case styled like a book. Wooden board with holes for checker pegs in a maroon leather case with a crest embossed on the front. The checker pegs are stored in a hollow under the board, which is attached to the case, the case has a snap closure in front. The game was used by Aurea Marcotte. (4.5" x 4.5" x 1")

    Banner glass oil lamp with molded glass base 6" wide and 12" tall without chimney, 19" tall with chimney. "Banner" imprinted on the metal wick assembly, four brackets to hold the chimney and a knob to adjust the wick. On the knob "P & A Mfg. Co. Waterbury Conn Made In U.S.A." Glass chimney is 3" wide at the base, 2" wide at the top, 8.5" tall.
